Our rater also told us that we could help our cold floors by adding insulation around our foundation. He also suggested that we replace our furnace. It's 27-years-old and works now. But it's better to shop before it goes than be left without heat in February. New windows would help, too. But our rater suggested that we update the window seals until we're ready to make that hefty investment.
